I was trying all day to download the product without success... what should I do to get this program? Is it a trial program, or a mac support drum program?

This is a very good product. I had programmed my first drum sequence within 15 mins of starting. Very intuitive to use, love the way it works as a standalone as well as a plugin for Logic (and others). When activated make sure you download all the factory content and extra kits (from your account page). This adds hundreds of additional kits and samples (the basic programme does not have these pre-installed). This is a great product which I have found to be immediately easy to use, but then was able to drill down, by learning more about it\'s interface, into a much more varied and flexible piece of software than I initially thought.

Right after I downloaded it, it said the demo had expired so I never got a chance to try it.

Just getting started with iDrum, but it seems fairly intuitive - that is if you are used to using drum machines. As I go back to the very first Lin Drum it's not so hard!

It doesn't let me use the trial version. Tells me it's expired.

I\'m thinking of getting an iPad 2 for music production, perhaps to use these XRB Loops in Garageband on iPad.

Hello from France,I found notation player 2.6 easy and pleasant to use.The free version I looked at has no capability to slowdown the rythm. This would help to decode difficult music.All the best,A. Cevlo

The program is quite useful and amazingly accurate for free ware. Not exactly for piano music though, but it can be a good reference. There is no editing whatsoever, which is sad part, but it is still good.

Notation Player has the best algorithm for midi2notation I have seen so far. It captures most of the tonal structure of complex pieces, rather than presenting a hodgepodge of arbitrary-looking accidentals. I tried it on a Hindemith organ sonata and some of my own pieces with good (not perfect) results. A fine demo of what can be done with midi as an interoperability tool. Runs nicely on Linux under Wine too. Pity NP doesn't export musicxml.

It works well I used MidiIllustrator for the first time last night and it was better than I expected. It was easy to find the path through the options and preferences to enable me to print one track from a Midi file. Keep up the good work and thanks.

after a glance As previously noted, the program is essentially complicated. I'm certain that such complexity allows the program to do wonderful things, but I'm not writing at that level yet, which means I did get lost when attempting to do some very simple things. I will continue playing with it, though, and am certain it will all work out when I get used to it.

My Review I find the most troublesome feature is the inability to change tone bank used without opening the Midi Options dialogue tile. It is a valuable application yet as a weekend composer it does not give me any value added ability. I am happy to have downloaded the demo, I believe this is a very good program for the novice user.

I\'m totally in love with this program. I used to write music in an old manuscript book before, and it would turn out too untidy, with plenty of mistakes and such. Then I decided to search the Internet for software that would enable me to write music on the computer. Notation Composer is everything I wanted in that software.

Im really enjoying this program. Its very easy to use and only took me a few hours to get the hang of it. It has many different choices for instruments which makes it really fun!!Im not sure how to use the recording feature. I have a microphone hooked up to my computer but It didnt work, so Im not sure what Im doing wrong... I wish I could simply click on where I would like to start playing the song instead of having to start from the beginning every time. That wastes time when I only want to listen ...

Good product I've used other music software programs in the past & found them difficult to navigate. I found that the notation composer was quite easy to use once you learn how to use it. I am thinking about purchasing this software, but I have to consider how many times will I actually use it. I am a retired clarinetist & rarely play or perform. I would be a very occassional user & might not be worth it to purchase it, since I might maybe used it once or twice a year.

playback It does not allow me to play back what I have composed however I did find it very useful and easy to use.

I like it Very easy to use. The down side is the playback synth instruments sound like total bad. But the program is great.

I just upgraded to Musician Notation 2.6 - It is an amazing program that lets you find thousands of midi files of songs on the internet and then plays them back while you watch the notes jump off the page with the music played.You will have a growing library of music that you can play or print whenever you want. A must for every aspiring musician. Gaining access to all those songs you wanted to learn how to play are now at your fingertips. Priceless!

I downloaded Notation Musician 2.4 yesterday and I haven't stopped searching for midi files of songs on the web. I cannot believe how much music is out there for you to download. So many midi file websites at your fingertips. The playback of watching the music jump off the sheet is great. Every musician who's is looking for sheet music of their favorite songs should check out this software. It's priceless!
